    2006-07: Competed in 18 events as a non-exempt bowler, cashing 13 times. Advanced from the Denny's PBA Tour Qualifying Round a Tour-high nine times. Secured an exemption by being the highest finishing non-exempt bowler in the 2006-07 PBA World Point Rankings, finishing 40th. Flirted with the possibility of earning an exemption by finishing in one of the top 39 spots that did. Finished 10th in the 2006 Lake County Indiana Classic, his highest finish of the first half, falling to fellow TQR bowler Steve Rogers, 4-2, in the Round of 16. Came out on fire in the second half by not only advancing from the TQR, but advancing to match play in four of the first five standard events including two top-10 finishes. Finished ninth in the 2007 Motel 6 Classic and fifth in the 2007 Sun City Classic, losing in seven games to eventual champion Mika Koivuniemi, in the Round of 8. Recorded his highest PBA Major finish of the year with an eighth-place finish in the 64th U.S. Open. Finished 15th in the 2007 Pepsi Championship before failing to make match play in the 2007 Denny?s World Championship.
